The Festival Lives Not Far From You!

Do not park or drive into neighboring subdivisions. Doing so will not result in a shortcut and we want to be good neighbors to the growing community around the Festival.
Avoid peak traffic by arriving before opening and leaving before closing. A pre-opening gate show begins at 9:10 am. The gates open at 9:30 am. The Festival closes at approx. 6:15 pm in October and always 5:30 pm in November (due to day light savings). Times may change on days with inclement weather.
Day trippers traveling hours to arrive at the Festival should account for additional traffic by packing snacks, refreshments, entertainments for children, etc. for the trip or consider making a weekend of the journey by staying overnight at several hotels in the area (click for a detailed listing of area hotels). Gas stations are located nearby the Highway exits. Consider stopping at that time for a bathroom break before entering event related traffic.
Speedway Traffic: If the Festival coincides with an event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Interstate I77 is recommended as an alternate route for Interstate 85.
